fascinated kids for 50 years, is manufactured by Binney & Smith in Easton, Pennsylvania. At the official Silly Putty website you can watch a video that shows how Silly Putty is manufactured, packaged, and shipped to stores.

When you get to the website you will be on the "Silly Science" page.
You will see an introduction, a menu of fun things to try with your Silly Putty at home, and then a short blurb about Silly Putty. Below the blurb is an icon with the words, "See the video!" Select the appropriate format to view the video on your computer, and begin the tour of the manufacturing plant.

When you are through with the tour, click on "History 101" on the menu to learn all about the history of Silly Putty too. Then, visit the Home page and explore other silly stuff on the site.
